Choose Florence when the flight options work for you. The airport is about 45 minutes from Antico Borgo San Lorenzo, making it the most direct arrival point for the wedding area.

Flying into Tuscany
We recommend flying into Florence Airport (FLR). It is the closest airport to the borgo and the simplest starting point for reaching Poggibonsi and the nearby hotels.

A note on shuttles
We’re still finalizing transportation details for the wedding weekend and will share more information soon.
For now, our top two hotel recommendations are Hotel Villa San Lucchese and Tenuta di Mezognano. Both are conveniently located near Antico Borgo San Lorenzo and will make getting to and from the wedding much easier.
If our transportation budget allows, these are also the two properties we intend to use as shared shuttle pickup points for the wedding.
Relais della Rovere and Hotel Alcide are still Francesca-recommended places to stay, but they are farther from our planned transportation points and may require guests to arrange their own transportation.
We’ll share confirmed shuttle details and timing as soon as everything is finalized.
